Verizon Communications Inc. will redeem 2.55% notes due 2019 on Nov. 15.

The principal amount outstanding for the notes is about $213.2 million, the company said Oct. 16. The redemption price for the notes will be equal to the greater of 100% of the principal amount of the notes, or the sum of the present values of the remaining scheduled payments of principal and interest on the notes.

The redemption price for the notes will be calculated in accordance with the terms of the notes on the third business day preceding the redemption date.
