Legal & General Group PLC named Steve Ellis as CEO of Legal & General Retail Retirement Living Solutions. Claire Singleton, currently CEO of Legal & General's mature savings business, will succeed Ellis as CEO of Legal & General Home Finance.

Eric Leathers and Peter McGoohan tendered their resignations from Assurant Inc.'s board. Separately, Elyse Douglas informed the board that she will not stand for re-election at the company's annual meeting when her current term expires on May, 7.

Keith Williams will retire from Aviva PLC's board following the conclusion of the company's annual general meeting on May 23. The move comes after he was appointed as chairman of Royal Mail Group PLC, effective May 22.

QBE Insurance Group Ltd. appointed Theresa Zimmerman to the newly created role of global risk solutions lead for the QBE Integrated Advantage for healthcare. She will be based in Omaha, Neb.
