Private equity firm Brentwood Associates Inc. acquired a majority stake in Simply Southern Restaurant Group Inc., also known as Chicken Salad Chick, from EMP Management LLC.

Chicken Salad Chick's CEO, Scott Deviney, will continue to lead the business.
