* Edmonton, Alberta-based Canadian Western Bank named Michael Dubowec president and CEO of its equipment financing arm, National Leasing Group Inc., effective March 1.
Dubowec currently serves as senior executive vice president of National Leasing. His appointment follows the retirement of current president and CEO, Tom Pundyk, who will stay on as adviser until Oct. 31.
* Geneva Cummins was elected to the boards of both Mansfield, Ohio-based Mechanics Financial Corp. and unit Mechanics Bank, Richland Source reported.
Cummins is an attorney and has served as a part-time magistrate. She replaces her father, Thomas Siegenthaler, who has been with Mechanics for about 26 years.
* Wisconsin-based Bank of Luxemburg, a unit of Luxemburg Bancshares Inc., added Lynie Vincent to its board, Peninsula (Baileys Harbor, Wis.) Pulse reported.
Vincent is the owner and vice president of sales and marketing at N.E.W. Plastics Corp. and co-owner and managing partner at Fulcrum Container Inc.
