CIBC completes offering of class A preferred shares

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce completed its offering of 10 million series 51 noncumulative rate reset class A preferred shares, raising gross proceeds of C$250 million.

The shares were sold at C$25 apiece.

The offering was made through a syndicate of underwriters led by CIBC Capital Markets.
