New York-based Horizons ETFs Management (USA) LLC on July 2 completed its acquisition of all the equity interests of Global X Management Co. LLC.

As a result of the transaction, Global X, an exchange-traded fund provider based in New York, became a wholly owned subsidiary of Horizons ETFs. Seoul, South Korea-based asset management firm Mirae Asset Global Investments Co. Ltd., ultimately controls Global X.
