John Harris Jr. is set to retire as Cousins Properties Inc.'s senior vice president and chief accounting officer, effective March 2020.

The office real estate investment trust will bring in Jeffrey Symes as senior vice president on Feb. 3, 2020, and as Harris' successor as chief accounting officer, effective March 2020.

Symes is senior vice president and chief accounting officer at Learfield IMG College.
