Ahold Delhaize buys back €77.6M worth of shares

Dutch food retailer Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV announced Aug. 14 that it repurchased 3,706,890 common shares from Aug. 6 to Aug. 10.

The stock was repurchased at an average price of €20.93 per share for total consideration of €77.6 million.

The buyback follows the 2,446,610 common shares repurchased by the company between July 30 and Aug. 3, and is part of the €2 billion share buyback program it announced Nov. 8, 2017.

Ahold Delhaize has bought back 66,323,542 common shares under this program to date for a total consideration of €1.29 billion.
