Alameda, Calif.-based OncoCyte Corp. appointed Albert Parker as COO.

Previously, Parker served as the managing shareholder of GC Legal Advisors. He has also served as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc.

OncoCyte is a biotechnology company and focuses on developing non-invasive blood and urine diagnostic tests for the early detection of cancer.
