Decora Q2 profit climbs YOY

Decora SA said its normalized net income for the second quarter amounted to 16 groszy per share, a gain from 2 groszy per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 1.9 million zlotys, a gain from 278,130 zlotys in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 3.5% from 0.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 12.2% on an annual basis to 53.5 million zlotys from 47.6 million zlotys, and total operating expenses rose 8.1% year over year to 49.0 million zlotys from 45.3 million zlotys.

Reported net income grew from the prior-year period to 2.4 million zlotys, or 21 groszy per share, from 197,000 zlotys, or 2 groszy per share.

As of Aug. 30, US$1 was equivalent to 3.91 zlotys.
