Eurogerm H1 profit climbs 22.1% YOY

Eurogerm SA said its normalized net income for the first half amounted to 42 euro cents per share, a gain of 19.9% from 35 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €1.8 million, an increase of 22.1% from €1.5 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue rose 9.3% year over year to €46.2 million from €42.2 million, and total operating expenses grew 8.4% from the prior-year period to €42.8 million from €39.5 million.

Reported net income rose 22.3% year over year to €2.1 million, or 48 cents per share, from €1.7 million, or 40 cents per share.
