Klein Financial shareholders approve Old National Bank/KleinBank merger

Klein Financial Inc.'s shareholders approved the merger between Evansville, Ind.-based Old National Bancorp unit Old National Bank, and Chaska, Minn.-based Klein Financial's unit KleinBank.

The deal was announced June 21 and is expected to be completed by Nov. 1, subject to customary closing conditions.

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency approved the deal Oct. 12, while the Federal Reserve Board approved the deal Oct. 17.
