Veritas Eläkevakuutus Oy, or Veritas Pension Insurance, appointed Kari Vatanen chief investment officer, effective March 1.

Vatanen was head of cross-asset derivative strategies and allocation at Keskinäinen työeläkevakuutusyhtiö Varma, or Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Co.

Vatanen succeeds Niina Bergring, who left Veritas to join Aktia Pankki Oyj as executive vice president of asset management.
