Pan-Pacific Q3 profit climbs 19.3% YOY

Pan-Pacific Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income came to 105.16 South Korean won per share, a gain of 22.4% from 85.92 won per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 3.93 billion won, a gain of 19.3% from 3.29 billion won in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 1.3% from 1.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 11.1% year over year to 309.30 billion won from 278.33 billion won, and total operating expenses grew 9.2% on an annual basis to 284.56 billion won from 260.52 billion won.

Reported net income declined 9.7% from the prior-year period to 3.53 billion won, or 94.54 won per share, from 3.91 billion won, or 102.00 won per share.

As of Nov. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 1,172.80 South Korean won.
