Fitness streaming platform iFit secures $200M growth equity investment

Fitness streaming platform iFit.com raised $200 million in growth equity investment led by Pamplona Capital Management LLP.

The additional funding will enable iFit to expand its interactive fitness platform in the connected home and club fitness industries, Scott Watterson, founder and chairman of Icon Health & Fitness Inc., iFit's parent company, said in a release. Icon also owns brands such as NordicTrack, ProForm and Freemotion.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch provided Icon financial advice, while Barclays served as Pamplona's financial adviser.
