Frederic Seegal has joined Cowen Inc. unit Cowen & Co. LLC as managing director and vice chairman of investment banking.

He will have a special focus on the consumer and technology, media and telecommunications industries.

Seegal comes from PJ Solomon Securities LLC, where he was senior adviser and vice chairman.
