Sri Lanka's Commercial Bank of Ceylon names executives, directors

Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC appointed Sivakrishnarajah Renganathan as managing director and CEO.

Renganathan replaces Jegatheesan Durairatnam, who is set to retire July 26, according to a July 2 release.

The bank said July 2 that it also named Sanath Chandima Udayakumara Manatunge COO and executive nonindependent director.

The appointments will take effect July 27.

Renganathan has been Commercial Bank's COO and executive director for the past four years, while Manatunge currently heads the corporate banking and trade finance divisions of Commercial Bank of Ceylon as deputy general manager of corporate banking.
