Moody's Corp. named Derek Vadala global head of cyberrisk for Moody's Investors Service Inc.

Vadala, in the newly established role, will develop Moody's Investors Service's capabilities for evaluating cyberrisk and will head innovative research, analytics and market outreach.

Vadala has served as Moody's chief information security officer since 2013.
