Temasek to buy cyber technology company Sygnia from Team8

Singaporean investor Temasek will acquire Sygnia Consulting Ltd. from Israeli cybersecurity think tank Team8 for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition is contingent on customary signing and closing conditions.

Sygnia is a cyber technology and services company offering consulting and incident response support for businesses in the financial, legal, retail and consumer goods products, information technology, media and entertainment, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, logistics, manufacturing and other sectors. It will remain operationally independent while collaborating with Temasek and its portfolio companies.

Sygnia founder and CEO Shachar Levy will remain at the helm, while Sygnia co-founders Ariel Smoler and Ami Kor will still hold key roles in the company. Team8 CEO Nadav Zafrir will continue as chairman at Sygnia.
