First Federal Community Bank of Bucyrus names successor to retiring CEO

First Federal Community Bank of Bucyrus President and CEO Phillip Gerber is set to retire, effective Dec. 31, according to a press release posted on Crawford County Now.

He will continue to be a director of the Bucyrus, Ohio-based bank.

A separate press release posted on Crawford County Now said vice president and regional executive, Bradley Murtiff, was promoted to executive vice president at First Federal Community Bank.

Murtiff will become president and CEO upon Gerber's retirement at the end of 2016.

The bank is a unit of Community Investors Bancorp Inc.
