Japanese investors, ArcLight close deals for 2 wind farms

Eurus Energy America LLC has become the sole owner of the 41-MW Combine Hills I facility after closing its purchase of the remaining 50% managing class B membership and 50% passive class A interests in the facility from ArcLight Capital Holdings LLC affiliate Leeward Renewable Energy LLC.

Combine Hills I is in Umatilla County, Ore., and sells power to PacifiCorp under a long-term agreement.

In a separate deal, Eurus Energy completed the transfer of a 25% ownership stake in the 54.5-MW Crescent Ridge facility in Bureau County, Ill., to Leeward Renewable, according to a Dec. 27 consummation notice.

The deals earned FERC approval Nov. 30, and the parties closed the transactions Dec. 21. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Leeward Renewable now owns all class B stake in the facility, which sells power into the PJM Interconnection LLC market on a wholesale basis. JPM Capital Corp will continue to own all class A nonmanaging membership interests in Crescent Ridge.

Eurus Energy is jointly owned by Toyota Tsusho Corp. and Tokyo Electric Power Co. Inc. PacifiCorp is a Berkshire Hathaway Energy subsidiary. (FERC docket EC17-20)
