Eversource Energy closed the sale of an additional $450 million of its 2.75% series K senior notes due 2022 and $450 million of its 2.90% series L senior notes due 2024.
Following the closing of the offering, the aggregate principal amount of 2022 notes outstanding totaled $750 million, according to an Oct. 12 Form 8-K filing. The company plans to use the sale proceeds to repay outstanding short-term debt.
Barclays Capital Inc., Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc. and MUFG Securities Americas Inc. served as representatives of several underwriters.
