Raymond James Financial Inc. is expanding its European investment banking practice with the opening of an office in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in June.

The Frankfurt team will focus on clients in the German mid­-market, corporates and private equity. It will also focus on capital market M&A and strategic advice.

The Frankfurt team comprises of Dirk­-Oliver Löffler, Julian Knirim and Jens Gerlach. Löffler, a managing director, and Knirim, a vice president, both join Raymond James from Richmond Park Partners. Gerlach, a vice president, earlier worked with Citigroup Inc.

Melville Mummert is the head of European investment banking at Raymond James.
