Dow Jones Risk & Compliance, a provider of anti-money laundering, anti-corruption and sanctions compliance data services, closed the acquisition of Cerico from the law firm Pinsent Masons and Campbell Nash, a consultancy owned by technologist James Armstrong.
Cerico provides end-to-end know your business partner technology and digital compliance tools for international businesses, supporting anti-corruption programs, the company said March 19. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
After the acquisition, Cerico's product will become part of Dow Jones' workflow application. As part of the transaction, Pinsent Masons will retain a strategic partnership with Dow Jones.
