China Evergrande Group said its contracted sales for July amounted to 44.16 billion yuan, an increase from the 43.01 billion yuan reported a year ago.

The unaudited sales figure corresponds to sales area estimated at 4,395,000 square meters, representing a per-square-meter selling price of 10,048 yuan.

As of Aug. 3, US$1 was equivalent to 6.72 Chinese yuan.
