Fenix Resources looks to secure iron ore export capacity at Port of Geraldton

Fenix Resources Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with the manager of the Port of Geraldton, the Mid West Ports Authority, to negotiate port access to export iron ore from its Iron Ridge project in Western Australia.

The company intends to secure about 1 million tonnes per annum of export capacity through the port, according to the May 29 release.

The total mineral resource at the Iron Ridge project recently increased 84% to 9.2 million tonnes at 64.1% iron, 3.36% silica, 2.66% aluminum oxide and 0.045% phosphorus using a 58% iron cutoff grade.
