AvrupaMinerals Ltd. on May 5 announced an initial NI43-101-compliantmineral resource for the Slivovo gold-silver project in Kosovo, in which itcurrently holds a 25% stake.
At a 1 g/t of gold cut-off, the resource stands at 640,000tonnes grading 4.80 g/t of gold and 14.68 g/t of silver, for 98,700 ounces ofgold and 302,000 ounces of silver in the indicated category.
Joint venture partner Byrnecut International Ltd. has spent over €2 million atSlivovo and has completed the 75% earn-in stage to the project. With theinitiation of work to complete the prefeasibility study and preparing theapplication for a mining license, it has now started the final 85% earn-instage.
More definition drilling is planned for later this year,Avrupa added.
