Visa completes acquisition of Currencycloud

Visa Inc. completed its acquisition of Currencycloud, a London-based foreign exchange solutions provider for banks and fintechs.

Currencycloud's cloud-based platform supports over 500 banking and technology clients with reach in more than 180 countries, according to a news release.

The deal values Currencycloud at £700 million, inclusive of cash and retention incentives, per the July announcement of the deal.
