Taxfix secures $220M in series D round

Mobile tax filing application developer Taxfix GmbH raised $220 million in a series D funding round led by Teachers' Venture Growth, bringing the company's valuation to over $1 billion.

Index Ventures, Creandum AB, Redalpine Venture Partners AG and Valar Ventures LP also participated in the round.

The Berlin-based company will use the proceeds to develop new products and expand into new markets beyond its current footprint of Germany, Spain and Italy.
