Suncorp closes sale of 50% stake in RACT Insurance

Suncorp Group Ltd. completed the sale of its 50% stake in joint venture RACT Insurance Pty. Ltd. to partner The Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania Ltd.

The transaction, announced in July, generated pretax profit on sale of A$65 million. The total capital release as a result of the deal was A$55 million.
