Seven Arts Entertainment to develop production studio JV with 24ATL Studios

Los Angeles-based motion picture production and distribution company Seven Arts Entertainment Inc. entered into a joint venture agreement with 24ATL Studios, an Atlanta-based film production studio that specializes in virtual production with LED backdrops.

Under the agreement, in consideration of ongoing access to 24ATL's facilities and staff, Seven Arts agreed to develop, within adjacent buildings, a new Dolby Atmos studio as well as additional audio recording and editing facilities for voiceovers and scoring.

The audio production facility is expected to complement 24ATL's established visual production capabilities.

Seven Arts said the joint venture will allow it to save on production costs and to share in revenue from third-party film production companies that use 24ATL's LED backdrop studio and audio production services.
