SBI Cards and Payment CEO to join State Bank of India as managing director

India's SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd. said Ashwini Kumar Tewari stepped down as managing director and CEO, effective Jan. 27.

The move comes after Tewari's appointment as managing director of State Bank of India, according to a same-day stock exchange filing.
