RBC hires Devine as head of leveraged loan trading Europe

RBC Capital Markets has hired Ian Devine as head of leveraged loan trading Europe, according to an internal memo.

Devine joins from NatWest and has more than 20 years' experience across leveraged markets in Europe and the U.S., having also worked at Credit Agricole, GE Capital, Lloyds and UBS.

Devine will support RBC's primary franchise and secondary trading in the leveraged loan space, as the firm seeks to build its leveraged financing and financial sponsor banking business.
