Proximus completes acquisition of Belgacom International Carrier Services

Belgian telco Proximus completed its acquisition of Belgacom International Carrier Services SA, according to a Feb. 24 press release.

Earlier this month, Swisscom AG and MTN Group Ltd. agreed to sell their stakes in BICS to the telecom operator.

Swisscom sold its 22.4% holding in BICS for about €110 million while MTN sold its 20% stake for an undisclosed amount.
