Prophix acquires Belgian software company Sigma Conso

Prophix Software Inc., a developer of corporate performance management software, acquired Belgium-based peer SigmaConso SA from Fortino Capital Partners NV/SA, according to an Oct. 27 announcement.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Under the deal, the technology of Sigma Conso, which specializes in financial close management and financial planning and analysis, will be integrated into the Prophix solution.

The acquisition is part of private equity firm HgCapital LLP's plan to ramp up Prophix's growth and product capabilities. HgCapital made a majority investment in Prophix in January for an undisclosed sum.
