President of Georgia-based Heritage Southeast Bancorp. to retire

Brian Smith, president of Jonesboro, Ga.-based Heritage Southeast Bancorp. Inc. and COO of its subsidiary, Heritage Southeast Bank, will retire, effective July 1.

The company named Brad Serff president of the company and chief banking officer of the bank, effective immediately.
