Oak View Bankshares Inc. and Oak View National Bank completed a share exchange pursuant to which Oak View Bankshares has become the parent bank holding company of the bank.
In the reorganization, each outstanding share of the bank's common stock was exchanged for one share of the company's common stock.
Shares of Oak View Bankshares common stock will continue to trade on the OTC Pink Markets Group's Pink marketplace under the ticker symbol OAKV, which was previously used for shares of the bank's common stock.
Shareholders who hold stock certificates will not be required to exchange bank certificates for company certificates but will have the option to do so by contacting the company's transfer agent, Computershare Inc., the news release said.
The headquarters for the bank and the company will remain in Warrenton, Va.
