Maryland-based First Financial FCU, Wor-Co FCU close merger

Sparks Glencoe, Md.-based First Financial FCU on March 22 completed its merger with Pocomoke City, Md.-based Wor-Co FCU.

Wor-Co FCU members had approved the transaction during a special meeting on Feb. 22.

Wor-Co FCU served the Somerset and Worcester Public School systems as well as several businesses, and healthcare facilities in the area.

Following the merger, First Financial serves four school systems throughout Maryland and over 90 select employer groups within their service region, according to a press release.
