Macquarie Group, Macquarie Bank name independent directors

Macquarie Group Ltd. appointed Rebecca McGrath and Mike Roche independent directors, effective Jan. 20.

McGrath and Roche also join the board of Macquarie Bank Ltd. as independent directors, according to a Jan. 19 release.

McGrath is the chairman of OZ Minerals Ltd. and a nonexecutive director of Goodman Group, while Roche is a nonexecutive director of Wesfarmers Ltd.
