Luxcara acquires stake in Dutch offshore wind farm from Van Oord

Luxcara GmbH said Jan. 12 that it recently completed the acquisition of Van Oord NV's 10% stake in the Blauwwind consortium. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Blauwwind consortium developed and constructed the 731.5-MW Borssele III & IV wind project in the North Sea, about 22 kilometers off the coast of the Netherlands. The project reached full operational capacity in 2021, according to a news release.

Marine construction company Van Oord chose to divest the stake to recycle capital for future projects.
