Louisiana-based Metairie Bank names CEO, president

Louisiana-based Metairie Bank & Trust Co., a subsidiary of MBT Bancshares Inc., named John LeBlanc CEO and Michael Gennaro president.

The announcement comes after the death of former President and CEO Ron Samford Jr. on Jan. 31.

LeBlanc most recently was executive vice president and COO of New Orleans-based Hibernia Bank. Gennaro has served as senior vice president and chief commercial lending officer at Metairie Bank since 2013.
