LoanDepot appoints president/CEO

Foothill Ranch, Calif.-based loanDepot Inc. appointed Frank Martell president and CEO, a newly created role within the company.

Anthony Hsieh, the founder and chairman of the company, has been named executive chairman.

Additionally, Martell has also been appointed to loanDepot's board.
