IK Investment Partners fund seeks majority stake in French insurance broker

IK Investment Partners' IK Small Cap II Fund is in exclusive talks with Blackfin Capital Partners SAS to acquire a majority stake in France-based online insurance brokerage platform LSA.

ISAI Gestion SAS will acquire a minority stake, alongside LSA CEO Bertrand Liber and the target's management. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

LSA offers property and casualty cover for individuals and small businesses, specializing in automotive insurance products for nonstandard risks.

Willkie Farr & Gallagher is serving as legal adviser in the transaction. Rothschild Transaction R is the M&A adviser and Gide is acting as legal adviser for the seller.
