Global Risk Partners on the block – Insurance Insider

Searchlight Capital Partners LP is putting Global Risk Partners Ltd. up for sale, just short of two years after acquiring the insurance broker, Insurance Insider reported.

Searchlight has had discussions with certain entities, including private equity firms and a U.S.-based strategic buyer, in preparation for an auction process. Evercore is reportedly advising on the restricted sale process.

The transaction could fetch about £1.2 billion in consideration, according to the report.

Global Risk Partners declined to comment.
