The Electric Reliability Council of Texas Inc. board has elected Sally Talberg as chair and Peter Cramton as vice chair, according to a Feb. 9 news release.
Talberg served on the Michigan Public Service Commission from 2013 through 2020, and has been serving as an unaffiliated director of the ERCOT board since Jan. 1. Cramton is an economics professor at the University of Cologne and the University of Maryland and has been an unaffiliated director of the ERCOT board since October 2015.
The 16-member ERCOT board includes five independent members, nine market sector representatives, the chairman of the Public Utility Commission of Texas and the president and CEO of ERCOT.
