Denmark's Jyske Bank enters insurance market with launch of new brand

Jyske Bank A/S is entering the Danish insurance market through a new initiative called Jyske Forsikring, established in collaboration with insurance firm Kobstaedernes Forsikring Gensidig.

The strategic partnership will see Købstædernes Forsikring provide insurance solutions to the bank's retail and business customers through the white-labeled brand by the third quarter of 2021, Jyske Bank said March 12.

The two parties expect Jyske Forsikring to become one of the 10 largest insurance players in Denmark within a number of years. It will over time also develop new products and concepts, the bank said.
