Goleta, Calif.-based Community West Bancshares hired Richard Pimentel as CFO and executive vice president of the company and unit Community West Bank NA, effective Jan. 3

Pimentel succeeds Susan Thompson, who recently transitioned to senior vice president and interim SEC Reporting Manager.

Pimentel most recently was CFO of CalPrivate Bank.
