Biden picks Todd Harper to chair NCUA

U.S. President Joe Biden designated Todd Harper as chairman of the National Credit Union Administration on Jan. 25.

Harper succeeds Rodney Hood, who was designated chairman of the NCUA in April 2019. Hood will continue as an NCUA board member.

Prior to joining the NCUA board, Harper was director of the agency's office of public and congressional affairs, as well as a chief policy adviser to two former chairmen: Debbie Matz and Rick Metsger.
