Bank of America Corp. named Madhu Kannan an executive vice chair of global corporate and investment banking, Bloomberg News reported, citing an internal memo.
Kannan, most recently global head of corporate development and capital markets at Uber Technologies Inc., will focus on advising Bank of America's global clients in the broader technology space while also helping the bank's efforts with venture firms and growth companies in India and emerging markets, according to the report.
Kannan joined Bank of America-Merrill Lynch in March 2008 as managing director of corporate strategy and business development, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence data.
