B. Riley Securities expands fixed income division, hires 2 managing directors

B. Riley Securities Inc., a unit of B. Riley Financial Inc., appointed Ji Pak and Mary Jo Collins to its fixed income division.

Pak will join as managing director, financials, and will be acting head of trading and salesperson to premier clients. Collins will join as managing director.

Pak was previously head of hybrid/preferred trading at Cantor Fitzgerald. Collins most recently was with Imperial Capital, with a focus on both preferred stocks and hybrid securities, as well as investment-grade corporate bonds.

B. Riley has expanded its fixed income division, more recently with the appointment of Tim Sullivan on Feb. 1, according to a news release.
